bUILD cOMMITTEE
This committee is responsible for planning, supporting, and implementing best practices for construction projects in conjunction with the Executive Director and Construction Manager. Their tasks include: obtaining house plans, implementing policies and procedures, soliciting professional help and donations of building materials, coordinating volunteers, and supervising construction. fUNDRAiSING cOMMITTEE
This committee is responsible for acquiring donations and gift-in-kind from corporations, churches, individuals, foundations and through special events to support affiliate’s annual and long-range goals and objectives. Task include identifying resources, cultivating major donors, grant proposal writing, planning fundraising campaigns and events, developing fundraising goals and objectives, and presenting recommendations to the board of directors for approval. Family Selection cOMMITTEE
This committee is responsible for drafting selection criteria, application forms, screening applications, interviewing applicants, and recommending applicants to the board of directors for approval as prospective homeowners.
