Volunteer
opportunities
Volunteers play an essential role in accomplishing our mission to eliminate substandard housing in Camden County. You can make a world of difference to families in our community just by volunteering.
How Can I Volunteer?
Volunteers are welcome at construction sites, in the ReStore, or in the Administrative office. Our volunteer needs may vary, but the following are some common ways you can help:
- Merchandising and creating decorative displays
- DIY projects
- Stocking store shelves
- Unloading trucks
- Pricing inventory
- Organizing the ReStore and the warehouse
- Yard work projects
- Construction projects

Community Service Opportunities
If you are interested in volunteering and need your hours tracked for another organization (school, workplace, association, etc.), we can help! Be sure to mention this when you contact us and bring a time sheet. If not, we can provide you with a generic community service timesheet. Habitat for Humanity of Camden County is unable to verify community service hours for volunteers who do not sign-in and/or sign-out of their volunteer shift or those without a timesheet so be sure to keep track.
